Utrecht – The arrival of a sustainable new residential area at the Haarrijnseplas is one step closer. The Utrecht city council has agreed to plans to develop a total of seven hundred owner-occupied and rental homes. A floating solar park is also to be built on the recreational lake at Vleuten and there is room for catering, a child center and a nursery. The city council will consider the plans in the fall.
