This year the city council decided that there will be a definitive fireworks ban. Something fun should take its place, advised 100 Utrecht citizens from the citizens’ council. That is why the municipality gives money to residents and organizations with a nice idea. That could be anything. The municipality does this on the municipal website suggestions with corresponding prices. Take, for example, renting a plastic skating rink, shuffleboard or a party tent.
