Utrecht University will probably not sign a manifesto against

It Amnesty manifesto consists of six promises:

1. Every student must be able to participate in an introductory workshop that has proven to be effective.

2. Every student must be kept informed at all times about the available help and reporting facilities, the code of conduct, and the law with regard to sexual violence.

3. Staff who have regular contact with students should be trained to deal with topics related to sexual violence in a trauma-sensitive manner.

4. The reporting and complaints procedure should be available to everyone in the educational community.

5. Everyone who has a role in the complaints procedure, from confidential advisors to members of an external complaints committee, should receive appropriate training to ensure that their actions do not perpetuate harmful myths surrounding rape.

6. Students must be involved in the further development and implementation of this promise.
