Utrecht University launches investigation into evictions during pro Palestine protests

On 7 May, the courtyard of the University Library was occupied by pro-Palestinian demonstrators. Dozens of demonstrators refused to leave after several warnings from the police and were removed by the riot police in the evening. A day later, on 8 May, a building on the Drift was briefly occupied. The police intervened there too and took demonstrators by bus to the cell complex in Houten.
