Utrecht University (UU) and Hogeschool Utrecht (HU) have responded to the call of outgoing minister of education Dijkgraaf to keep tuition rates low for Ukrainian students. Last year, the rate for Ukrainians was reduced to the rate that Dutch students also pay. Unlike last year, this time the bill for that discount will not be borne by the government, but by the educational institution itself.
