The number of Ukrainian refugees coming to the Netherlands has been increasing for weeks. While this was still three hundred people per week in August, it is now more than six hundred per week. The Utrecht Safety Region more than meets the government’s requests, says director Jaap Donker. But to reduce the pressure, other regions must offer more places.
