Utrecht professor wants to avert the climate crisis with investments

Hans Stegeman is an economist and investment strategist at the bank and explains the difficulties that exist. “A normal investment, that can be anything, that is a cross section of the economy. Because a large part of the economy is not sustainable, the investments are not either.” Stegeman sees that it is difficult for other financial institutions to promote sustainable investments. “I don’t understand that myself, I think it’s a choice.”
