How different it is with the Krablappers from Bunschoten-Spakenburg. That’s what Wilma Veldhoen, Storm Veldhoen (son of), Lia Knevel, Bo Knevel (daughter of), Mark Peter Ruizendaal and Leander Vedder call themselves. For the most part from Spakenburg, hence the name, a reference to the traditional costume in the village. “You want something original, you want to bring something from your own village. Even all the way here in faraway France, of course,” explains Mark Peter Ruizendaal.
