The following municipalities are in favor of the distribution law: Utrecht, Amersfoort, Veenendaal, De Ronde Venen, Soest, Woerden, Woudenberg, Wijk bij Duurstede, Zeist, Eemnes, Vijfheerenlanden, Nieuwegein, IJsselstein, Oudewater, De Bilt, Baarn, Bunnik, Rhenen.
We have not received an answer from: Houten, Renswoude, Bunschoten, Lopik, Leusden, Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Sometimes municipalities are not very clear in their answer. For example, Montfoort says: “We do what we can in our municipality when it comes to receiving newcomers. We do this regardless of whether the dispersal law is passed or not.”
The municipality of Stichtse Vecht says: “A simple for or against from the mayor does not take into account the complexity of the tasks. We naturally follow the decision-making process with interest.”
