UTRECHT – “I woke up to the sound of the alarm clock going off and I wanted to get ready to go to school, but no one in the house was preparing,” says 9-year-old Svyatoslav. “Mom, I have to go to school, we’ll be late,” he said. But his mother informs him that he is not going to school today. There is a rumbling noise outside. “It’s just a thunderstorm, I’m just putting on a raincoat,” thinks Svyatoslav. It’s just not a thunderstorm, the war has begun.
