More than sixty skaters took part in the tournament in the World Skate Center in Den Bosch. The battle for the podium places for the women was between the three Olympians: Keet Oldenbeuving (18), Roos Zwetsloot (22) and Candy Jacobs (32). Oldenbeuving eventually beat title holder Zwetsloot.
