Utrecht – Utrecht will install smart cameras in the Stadsbaantunnel because trucks with hazardous substances still drive through the tunnel, while this is not allowed. Carriers who still drive through the tunnel with hazardous substances can be held accountable. The municipality does this together with the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate, which can also impose fines.
