The Literature Museum and Children’s Book Museum from The Hague wants to move to the city center of Utrecht. The museum and the municipality of Utrecht will sign a letter of intent for this this afternoon. The intention is that the museum – with curiosities from writers such as ‘the cigar of Couperus’ and ‘the vacuum cleaner of Vestdijk’ – will open in 2025 in the former building of the Broese bookshop on the corner of the Oudegracht and the Stadshuisbrug.
