Utrecht – What did Utrecht look like 300 years ago? And, how do we know that? The exhibition will start next month in the Utrecht Archives The Drawn City. Hundreds of drawings, which are normally kept under lock and key, are being removed from the depot especially for this exhibition. Historian Kaj van Vliet is extra enthusiastic, because as of today the collection has two new drawings. “It is not only a picture of what the city looked like at the time, but also of how people lived at that time.”
