The share of women in the water boards is much lower. In the Amstel, Gooi and Vecht water board, this is still fairly divided: there are 11 women (42.3 percent) against 15 men (57.7 percent). In Rijnlanden, 5 women (17.9 percent) are on the water board, compared to 23 men (82.1 percent). Nationally, the percentage of women in the water boards is 27 percent.
