Utrecht – The chances seem small, but Utrecht still wants to see if it will be possible to skate on the canal in the city soon. The municipality therefore does not sail via the western Stadsbuitengracht at the Catharijnesingel. Other parties, such as shipping company Schuttevaer, have been asked to do the same and only sail via the east side. It is not a ban on sailing, but a request, the municipality emphasizes.
