There are currently two official lift locations at the entrances to the Waterlinieweg, near the Galgenwaard. After research by the NederlandLift Foundation, the municipality has allocated three new lift locations. “It is a sustainable form of mobility, because hitchhiking does not lead to additional traffic movements but fills empty seats,” according to the municipality.
