We meet Abdulaal in the Wilhelminapark. During his theatre studies he spent a lot of time in this park in Utrecht, which is why it is his favourite place. Abdulaal only wanted to participate in the documentary if it was about more than the stereotypical image of a refugee. “I give lectures, I do sports, I work, I go to the store, I drink coffee with friends, I make food. If you can also tell that story in a documentary, I want to participate.”
