Utrecht deputy Mirjam Sterk does not want to become party

She has thought about it for a while, but would like to take responsibility for everything that needs to be done in the province. She therefore quickly decided that she does not want to go to The Hague, she says in the program. “I have been a deputy in the province of Utrecht for six months now and a coalition agreement has just been concluded. There are major challenges in the province, I am thinking of the rural area for which I am also responsible. I would like to go for that.” She also does not want to become a Member of Parliament for the Christian Democrats. Mirjam Sterk was a Member of Parliament from 2002 to 2012.
