A dentist’s bill of twenty euros that eventually amounts to more than 800 euros. Or a debt of 800 euros that grows to almost 2000 euros. The current debt system, in which debts increase due to collection costs and lawsuits, needs to be overhauled. That is the opinion of debt experts from the province of Utrecht. They are placing their hopes on the new cabinet. “And that should happen as soon as possible as far as I am concerned.”
