Utrecht clubs draw up rules for participation in football schools
The experiences in Utrecht are in line with those in Amsterdam, where the Amsterdam Sports Council strongly warns against “trade in football dreams”† That call follows a research of Utrecht University, where the researchers concluded that the emergence of football schools poses risks for club life.

The researchers distinguish between internal schools that are linked to clubs and are more or less an extension of them, as well as external commercial providers. In both cases, extra payment has to be made for the football tutoring.
