Former public prosecutor about Sjoerd Swane Case is still important

Amersfoort – A 21-year-old Utrechter who was on trial for attempted murder of his girlfriend’s cousin has been found guilty by the court. The victim was stabbed in the back from behind just below his shoulder blade during a night walk after arguing over a telephone. The man, who was 19 years old at the time, was given 184 days of juvenile detention, 180 days of which were suspended. Because he has already been in custody for four days, he does not have to go to jail. He was also given a 200-hour community service order.
