The reception of refugees from war-torn Ukraine is going very well. That is the view of De Protestantse Kerk Utrecht, which itself plays an important role in the process. Churches have historically been one of the first parties to provide aid in crisis situations. According to Pastor Dirk de Bree, religious institutions can switch quickly and thus offer adequate shelter sooner than the government.
