Utrecht – “Clothing promotion, handing in open”, reads a sign in front of the Jerusalem Church in the Utrecht neighborhood of Tuindorp-Oost. On Friday afternoon the doors of the building are wide open. Already at the door posts piles of jeans, winter coats and sweaters are bulging out. The rest of the building is also covered with clothing. This week, the church, along with other churches and volunteers, is giving away donated clothing to refugees and other needy people.
