In a press release, councilor Susanne Schilderman (D66) announced that an important step is being taken in sustainability. Utrecht aims to be completely circular by 2050. “I am very proud of it because we are giving our materials a new life,” says the councilor. “The Lage Weide business park has been known for years for how it uses raw materials sustainably. It is great that we are going to be part of this by setting up a place where we can experiment and learn about the reuse of materials.”
