The Utrecht region is the most popular place to live, and the places around the city are particularly popular. This is evident from the Funda annual overview. Of the ten most popular residential locations in the Netherlands, five come from the province of Utrecht. Not surprising, says real estate agent Mark Linschoten: “The combination of being close to the city and yet a reasonable home with space is the ideal combination.”
