Before Le Roux could get started with the puzzle at the end of last year, he traveled from his hometown of Groningen to Utrecht to do research. “My perspectives are always from a high vantage point and before I would go up with a drone to take pictures, but that is no longer allowed,” explains Le Roux. “That’s why I called the Winkel van Sinkel to ask if I could stand on their highest balcony. I then made all kinds of photos and sketches on that spot.”
