Utrecht’s ambition to reduce the speed as much as possible to 30 was known, but is now being accelerated. These are streets where cyclists and cars share the road and are therefore not a separately constructed cycle path. Examples of this are: Adelaarstraat, Sweder van Zuylenweg and Hooft Graaflandstraat. But the speed is also reduced in several places in Rijnsweerd, Utrecht Science Park, Overvecht and the Werkspoorkwartier.
