May I come in? Usha Vance asked.
No thanks, all responded to Greenlanders.
After knocking a door during his visit to the Danish island, no one wanted to let in the Vice Presidential wife.
Here JD Vance lands in Greenland

In connection with the Vice President couple’s visit to Greenland, the residents of the capital Nuuk were offered home visits by Usha Vance. This week, representatives of the US government have barely a door to investigate interest.
It turned out to be zero.
– They have knocked on one door after the other, but everywhere the answer has been the same: no thanks, says Jesper Steinmetz, Danish TV2: S correspondent in Nuuk.
Would go without husband
The reason must have been the changed plans regarding the visit. From the beginning, Usha Vance would go without her husband to explore both culture and the island in general.
But when JD Vance announced that he would also come along, the plan was changed. Instead of dog team race and visits to Nuuk – the Danish stay takes place only on the American space base Pituffik.
“Slowly but surely”
Jesper Steinmetz says there is a majority in Greenland who wants to see a greater American collaboration – but that it must be done in a “respectful way”.
– The new Greenland leader wants the road to Greenland’s independence to go slowly but surely. This is completely contradictory to what Vance and Trump want.
