If you want to use a gaming PC properly, you have to cool the hardware properly. And this is not only important in summer, when temperatures are high outside and in the apartment.
A gamer has now shown how he can cool his gaming PC to extremely low temperatures and gamble with it.

How did he set up his system? The user explained on reddit that he wanted to set up an office in an empty room in his house. But it’s freezing cold in the room because the ventilation system for the air conditioning system hangs directly above it. Then he came up with the idea of using this cold air more sensibly. As he himself writes:
The thing about this room is that it’s right next to my 5 ton air vent, the vent is inches from the main duct. It’s freezing in here. So I came up with the crazy idea of building a new water cooled PC that would take advantage of the cold air blowing out of the room 24/7 since I live in Florida and my wife keeps the house at 68F year round [etwa 19 Grad Celsius] would like to have.
In a second post on reddit, he explained that he has meanwhile cooled his hardware down to 4 degrees Celsius. But without the water condensing. This is mainly because the air is dehumidified by the air conditioning system.
He installed almost exclusively high-end hardware in his computer:
Thanks to his settings, he can play the demanding Cyberpunk 2077 with path tracing turned on at over 60FPS and ultrawide resolution (3440×1440).
Why you should not neglect the cooling of your PC
Cooling offers many advantages: When the graphics card, processor and co. start to work, large amounts of heat are emitted. If your PC gets very hot, it throttles the performance (“thermal throttling”) or, in the worst case, switches itself off. This is ensured by fuses that manufacturers build into their components.
On top of that, you can overclock better with a well-cooled PC, because excellent cooling is very important here.
