(Finance) – The crude oil inventories in the USA in the last week. The EIA, the division of the US Department of Energy, reported that crude oil stocks, in the last seven days to December 15, 2023, rose by approximately 2.9 million barrels to 443.7 MBG, against expectations for a decrease of 2.3 million.
The stocks of distillates recorded a change of +1.5 million, reaching 115.0 MBG, against expectations for a change of +0.5 million, while the stocks of petrol recorded an increase of 2.7 million to 226.7 MBG (an increase of 1.2 million was expected).
The strategic reserves of oil increased by 0.6 million to 352.5 MBG.
