(Finance) – The crude oil inventories in the USA in the last week. The EIA, the division of the US Department of Energy, reported that crude oil stocks, in the last seven days to January 5, 2024, rose by approximately 1.3 million barrels to 432.4 MBG, against expectations for a decrease of 0.7 million.
The stocks of distillates recorded a variation of +6.5 million, reaching 132.4 MBG, against expectations for a variation of +2.4 million, while inventories of petrols recorded an increase of 8 million to 245 MBG (an increase of 2.5 million was expected).
The strategic reserves of oil increased by 0.6 million to 355 MBG.
