(Finance) – Mortgage applications continue to grow in the United States. In the week to 8 December 2023the index that measures the volume of mortgage loan applications recorded growth of 7.4%, after +2.8% in the previous week.
The index relating to refinancing requests rose by 19.2%, while that relating to new questions recorded an increase of 3.5%.
This is made known Mortgage Bankers Associations (MBA)indicating that 30-year mortgage rates fell to 7.07% from 7.17% the previous week.
