(Finance) – The numbers continue to fall mortgage applications in the United States. In the week to 29 September 2023, the index measuring the volume of mortgage loan applications recorded a decrease of 6%, after -1.3% in the previous week.
The index relating to requests for refinancing fell by 6.6%, while that relating to new questions recorded a decrease of 5.7%.
This was announced by the Mortgage Bankers Associations (MBA), indicating that i rates on thirty-year mortgages they rose to 7.53% from 7.41% in the previous week.
