(Finance) – Mortgage applications are plummeting in the United States. In the week to 29 December 2023the index that measures the volume of mortgage loan applications recorded a decline of 10.7% after -1.5% in the previous week.
The index relating to refinancing requests fell by 18.1%, while that relating to new questions recorded a decrease of 5.4%.
