USA University of Michigan consumer confidence stable in April

(Finance) – The index that measures US consumer confidence was confirmed stable, according to the latest survey conducted by theUniversity of Michigan, which published the final estimate. In April, the consumer sentiment index stood at 63.5 points as in the preliminary and March reading.

The component relating to expectations has been revised downwards, which stands at 60.5 points from 60.3 and against the expected 61.8, while that on the current condition has been revised to 68.2 points from the preliminary 66 and 60.3 of March.
