(Finance) – The index measuring US consumer confidence has been revised upwards, according to the latest survey conducted from the University of Michiganwhich published the final estimate.
In October, the consumer sentiment index stood at 63.8 points from 63 in the preliminary reading and against 68.1 in September.
Revised downwards, however component relating to expectationswhich is positioned at 59.3 points from 66 and against the expected 60.7, while that on current condition it was revised to 70.6 points from the preliminary 66.7 points and compared to 71.4 in September.
