(Finance) – American consumer confidence improves in July. According to the preliminary data of the‘University of Michiganconsumer sentiment is estimated to rise to 51.5 points compared to 50 points in June and is even better than the expectations of analysts who expected 51.5 points.

In the same period the index on the present situation rose to 58,1 points from the previous 53,8 points (the expectations were for 57,1 points), while lindex on expectations it dropped to 47.3 points from the previous 47.5 (the consensus was at 47.3 points).
