(Tiper Stock Exchange) – American consumer confidence improves in December 2022. According to preliminary data from the University of Michigan, consumer sentiment is estimated to rise to 59.1 points from 56.8 points in November, and is even better than analysts’ expectations of 56.9 points.
In the same period, the index on present situation rose to 60.2 points from 58.8 points previously (expectations were for 58 points), while the index on waited it increased to 58.4 points from 55.6 previously (the consensus was at 56 points).
