USA, University of Michigan consumer confidence in July rises to 51.1 points

(Finance) – American consumer confidence improves in July 2022. According to preliminary data from the University of Michigan, consumer sentiment is estimated at increase to 51.1 points compared to the 50 points in June and is even better than the analysts’ expectations, who expected 49.9 points.

In the same period the index on the present situation rose to 57.1 points from the previous 53.8 points (expectations were for 52.5 points), while the index on waited it dropped to 47.3 points from the previous 47.5 (the consensus was at 47 points).
