USA tertiary sector expands again in February

(Finance) – It is confirmed the service sector is improving in the United States in February. The final services PMI, compiled by S&P Globalrose to 50.6 points from 46.8 in the previous month and is also higher than the 50.5 points estimated by analysts.

The index, which represents a survey of purchasing managers of companies active in the tertiary sectorthus goes back above the 50-point threshold, which acts as a watershed between expansion and contraction.

Salt too the composite index, which also takes into account the change in the manufacturing PMI, and which stands at 50.1 points, compared to 46.8 points in the previous month and the 50.2 points of the consensus estimate.
