“We have a real opportunity to end the conflict. We hope to reach a solution in the coming days,” Hochstein said. he said.
Stating that his meeting with Berri was constructive, Hochstein said, “There is a serious chance for a ceasefire.” he said.
Hochstein said that the decision to end the hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah is in the hands of the parties.
Hochstein, who did not take questions from journalists, left the parliament speaker’s residence to meet with Lebanese Prime Minister Necip Mikati.
