USA SP Global Services PMI drops in March

(Finance) – The service sector in the United States is slowing down. The definitive services PMI index, developed by S&P Global, it rose to 51.7 points in March from 52.3 in the previous month, and is in line with analysts’ estimates.
The index, which represents a survey of purchasing managers of companies active in the tertiary sector, however, it is confirmed above the 50 point thresholdwhich acts as a watershed between expansion and contraction.

The composite index also slippedwhich also takes into account the change in the manufacturing PMI, and stands at 52.1 points, compared to 52.5 points in February, but below the 52.2 points of consensus expectations.
