(Finance) – Cala l’manufacturing activity of the United States, while that of services rises in December. The flash estimate on the Manufacturing PMI index developed by S&P Global in fact, it indicates a level of 48.3 points, down from 49.7 points in November and from the 49.4 points of analysts’ estimates.
The indicator once again confirms itself below the key threshold of 50 points, which acts as a watershed between expansion and contraction.
The index, however, is rising tertiary sectoralways in December. The flash estimate for the services PMI, published by S&P Global, indicates a value of 58.5 points, which compares with 56.1 in November and with the 55.7 of the consensus.
The Composite PMI it thus stands at 56.6 points from the previous 54.9 (analysts’ expectations were 55.1 points).
