(Finance) – US consumer confidence is down. The survey of Conference Board of the United States on consumer sentiment signaled a decline in the index to 100.2 points in November 2022 compared to 102.2 points in October (data revised from 102.5 points).
However, the data is better than analysts’ expectations which were for an index down by up to 100 points.
The Consumer Confidence Survey is based on a representative sample of 5,000 American households and is conducted for the Conference Board by NFO WorldGroup.
