(Finance) – Revised upwards the index that measures the US consumer confidence, according to the latest survey conducted by the University of Michigan, which published the definitive estimate. In the month of September 2023, the consumer sentiment index stood at 68.1 points from 67.7 in the preliminary reading and against 69.5 in August.
The component relating to, however, was revised downwards expectationswhich is positioned at 66 points from 65.5 and against the expected 66.3, while that on current condition it was revised to 71.4 points from the preliminary score of 69.8 points and compared to 75.7 in August.
