In the seventh month of the year there was in fact a variation of 0% on a monthly basis to 682.8 billion dollars, after the + 0.8% of the previous month (data revised from + 1%). The figure communicated by the US Census Bureau is lower than the expectations of the analystswhich they had estimated at + 0.1%.
Every year there was an increase of 10.3% (+ 8.5% in June).
The data “core”ie retail sales excluding cars, recorded + 0.4% on a monthly basis after + 0.9% in June (revised data from + 1%) and against expectations for -0.1%.
