The US Senate approved the bill prepared to make daylight saving time in the country permanent.
Sponsored by Republican Senator Marco Rubio, the bill was unanimously approved by the Senate General Assembly.
STARTING IN 2023
In his speech, Rubio stated that making daylight saving time permanent would be beneficial in many ways, but that if the bill becomes law, it will start to be implemented on 20 November 2023.
If the bill is approved by the House of Representatives, it will go to the table of US President Joe Biden to become law. (AA)
