(Finance) – Grows more than expected October 2023 on American construction market. According to the US Department of Commerce i new construction sites started recorded an increase of 1.9%, reaching 1.327 million units, after the 7% increase recorded in September (figure revised from +3.9%). Analysts’ expectations had predicted a lower number of open construction sites at 1.345 million.
THE building permits issued by the authorities competent companies recorded, in the same period, an increase of 1.1% to 1.487 million units, after the -4.5% recorded the previous month. Analysts’ expectations were for a decline in permits to 1,450 million.
