(Tiper Stock Exchange) – US manufacturing activity strengthens in November. This is confirmed by the index of company purchasing managers compiled by Markit-S&P Globalwhich confirms a phase of economic growth.
In November, thePMI manufacturing index it rose to 47.7 points, from the 47.6 indicated by the consensus and the preliminary estimate, and against the 47.6 points of the previous month.
However, the index remains below the key threshold of 50 points which marks the dividing line between expansion (above 50 points) and contraction (below 50 points) of activity.
